サンビセンテ小学校では、図書室として利用されていた学習スペースが非常に狭く、多くの児童が同時に利用することができませんでした。また、建物の一部は老朽化が進み、壁や天井の損傷、床の劣化、屋根からの雨漏りなどが見られ、安全で快適な学習環境とは言えない状況でした。
蔵書数も限られており、児童が読書に親しむための十分なスペースや設備が整っていませんでした。さらに、算数や理科の教材を活用した体験的な学習を行う環境も不足しており、児童一人ひとりの学習意欲や読書習慣を育むうえで大きな課題となっていました。
学校では限られた予算の中で改善を続けてきましたが、大規模な改修や増築を行うことは困難であり、多くの児童がより良い学習環境を必要としていました。
本プロジェクトでは、ラーニング・リソース・センター（図書室）の改修および増築を実施しました。老朽化していた壁や床、天井、屋根を補修・改修するとともに、新たなテラススペースを整備し、児童が安心して学び、読書を楽しめる環境を整えました。
図書室は以前よりも広くなり、多くの児童が同時に利用できるようになりました。また、新しい書棚や机・椅子を設置したことで、より多くの図書や教材を活用した学習が可能となっています。算数や理科の教材も充実し、読書だけでなく、主体的に学びを深められる学習拠点として活用されています。
新設されたテラスは、休み時間や放課後に児童が本を読んだり、教育用ボードゲームを楽しんだり、教師による読み聞かせを行ったりする新たな学習スペースとなっています。屋内外を活用した柔軟な学習活動が可能となり、子どもたちの創造力や協働する力を育む場としても期待されています。
現在では、多くの児童が毎日図書室を利用しており、学校全体で読書活動や学習支援活動がより活発に行われています。本プロジェクトは、施設の改善にとどまらず、子どもたちが学ぶ楽しさを実感し、自ら学び続ける力を育むための大きな基盤となりました。

With hearts full of gratitude, we extend our sincerest appreciation to your organization for your generous support in the renovation and extension of the San Vicente Elementary School Learning Resource Center. Through your kindness, our school library has become larger, more welcoming, and more conducive to learning.
Because of this expansion, the Learning Resource Center can now accommodate more learners and house a wider collection of learning resources. It has become a vibrant learning space that nurtures our children's love for reading while also strengthening their interest in Mathematics and Science through the various instructional materials, manipulatives, and learning resources now available in the library.
The newly added terrace has also become a wonderful extension of our Learning Resource Center. It provides a comfortable and inviting space where learners can spend their vacant time productively by reading books, playing educational board games, and listening to stories read aloud by our designated teacher. More than just an additional structure, this terrace creates meaningful opportunities for our learners to develop creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and, most importantly, a lifelong love for reading and learning.
We also express our deepest gratitude to NPO法人 Daredemo Hero for your invaluable role in connecting our school with our generous sponsor, MAAARU. Your efforts in making this partnership possible have created a lasting impact on our school community.
Beyond this remarkable project, we are equally grateful for your unwavering generosity. 皆様の温かいご厚意により、本校の図書館はこれまで以上に広く、親しみやすく、子どもたちが学びやすい場所へと生まれ変わりました。
今回の増築によって、ラーニング・リソース・センターでは、より多くの子どもたちを受け入れ、より幅広い学習教材や資料を備えることができるようになりました。
現在では、子どもたちの読書への関心を育むだけでなく、図書館に新たに整備されたさまざまな教材、実物教材、学習資料を通じて、算数や理科への興味も深めることのできる、活気ある学びの場となっています。
新たに増設されたテラスも、ラーニング・リソース・センターの素晴らしい一部となりました。
子どもたちは空き時間を利用して、本を読んだり、教育的なボードゲームを楽しんだり、担当教員による読み聞かせを聞いたりしながら、有意義な時間を過ごすことができます。

On behalf of all the pupils of our school, we would like to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous support in the renovation and extension of our School Learning Resource Center.
Because of your kindness, we now have a bigger, brighter, and more welcoming library that can accommodate more learners and more learning resources. We are excited to read the many books available and explore the Mathematics and Science learning materials that make learning more enjoyable and meaningful. We believe that this wonderful Learning Resource Center will help us develop a lifelong love for reading, learning, and discovering new things.
We especially love the newly added terrace. It has become our favorite place to spend our free time reading books, playing educational board games with our classmates, and listening to stories read by our teachers. It is a place where we can learn, imagine, and grow together.
We would also like to thank NPO法人 Daredemo Hero for introducing our school to your organization and for making this meaningful partnership possible.
